Millbrook Healthcare runs the Community Equipment Service (CES) in Ñý¾«¶¯Âþ. They can lend you equipment to help with your care and keep you independent at home.
You could get:
- grab rails to help you move around your home
- furniture raisers to make chairs and beds higher
- toilet aids to help you get on and off the toilet
- walking aids
- bathing and showering aids
- hoists and other tools for carers to help with washing and hygiene
- small ramps for wheelchairs at your front door
You may be able to get equipment if you:
- live in Ñý¾«¶¯Âþ
- have a GP in Ñý¾«¶¯Âþ
A health or social care professional will check what you need.
You cannot order equipment yourself. Speak to:
- an occupational therapist
- a nurse
- other NHS worker
- a social care worker
They will order the right equipment for you.

Please return equipment when you no longer need it.

Each item should have a sticker with a phone number. Call that number to arrange collection.
If there is no sticker:
- contact the hospital or surgery that gave you the equipment
- or take it back to the CES depot
