Only use the funded childcare parent portal to apply for FEET (15 hours for 2 year olds who get extra support).
If you're looking for other types of funded childcare:
- You don’t need to apply for 3 and 4 year olds – just speak to your provider
- Working families can apply through a different service
- Foster carers have a separate way to apply

How to apply
You can apply for FEET in the鈥痜unded period your child turns two (1 January, 1 April or 1 September).
If you qualify, you’ll receive a FEET ID number.
1. Create a 妖精动漫 account
First-time users must register and create a login. This allows you to:
- Apply online
- Receive updates
- Check messages
- Update your details
2. Submit your application
We’ll check if you qualify with government departments (HMRC, DWP, 妖精动漫 Office) as permitted by law.
3. Receive your FEET ID number
If approved, you’ll get a鈥疐EET ID number. Share this with your childcare provider so they can claim the funding.
What you’ll need
- Your and your child’s full details (name, address, contact)
- Your鈥疦ational Insurance Number鈥痮r鈥疦ational Asylum Seeker Number
- The criteria you meet to qualify (see Funded early education for 2 year olds)
- If you're helping a family apply, include your own details too.

- Log in anytime to check your application status and messages.
- Once approved, take your鈥疐EET ID number to a childcare provider listed on our .
- Confirm your child’s place - this can be verbal or written.
