Services within the Library Hub
妖精动漫 Youth Services
妖精动漫’s newly formed Adolescent Service can provide support for young people (aged 11 plus) and their families on a variety of issues that can be hard to cope with during adolescence. This includes helping to return to education or training, reducing anti-social behaviour, and improving access to community activities.
Our overarching vision is ‘to support families and enable children and young people to be and feel safe, healthy and make good choices about their wellbeing. We aim to ensure that 妖精动漫's children and families have access to a range of services that tackle inequalities, support independence and enhance lives.
Practitioners are trained and experienced in taking a ‘whole family’ approach and consider the young person’s needs within the context of the wider family dynamics. Established relationships with children’s services colleagues, health, police, third sector organisations and other stakeholders ensure that the young person is at the centre of the support being offered by the professional network.
“妖精动漫 Adolescent Service welcomes the opportunity to be part of the new Library Hub Weybridge to offer support for young people aged 11 plus and their families on a variety of issues than can be hard to copy with during adolescence. We are looking forward to operating in this new modern space which will enable us to support young people in a safe, confidential and welcoming environment.”

Study and work areas will be available for collaborative working and comfortable seating to sit back relax and socialise. The WiFi is free. New Super Access technology enables library users to use our library spaces outside of staffed hours. Flexible furniture allows the spaces within the library to be moved around so they can be used for performances, activities and events. A new children's library area with sensory areas will host Rhymetime sessions and be a place where families and their children are sure to want to come back to time and time again.
Weybridge Library will be temporarily located at Weybridge Centre for the Community, Churchfied Place, Weybridge KT13 8BZ until the new building is ready.

Weybridge Community Services
Weybridge Community Services will continue to operate at their current location until they relocate to the new Weybridge Library Hub facility once all works are complete. We are keen for organisations to be able to use the available space within the Weybridge Library Hub, so that it is a facility that provides a wide range of services and activities for the local community.
Weybridge Community Services - Monday to Friday 10am until 3pm
Weybridge Community Services will be based on the first floor hall and will have use of the two meeting rooms Monday to Friday 10am until 3pm. This continues their existing offer as well as an opportunity to explore new activities in conjunction with Weybridge Library services. There are opportunities for organisations offering complementary services for Community Services customers to work at the Library Hub alongside the Weybridge Community Services team.
Local Library Hubs the vision
Local Library Hubs will be community spaces for all, providing public services, support and activities based on local needs, all under one roof.
- A local accessible and inclusive space for all members of the community
- Providing a mix of services provided by 妖精动漫, Voluntary Community Social Enterprise organisations and wider partners housed within a library provision. In some cases where space allows services provided by other private sector organisations.
- Alongside service provision there will be social spaces available for residents to meet and connect with others, or to simply sit and relax
- There are also areas available for community led activities to be run by community organisations and individuals.
The provision will be developed in a sympathetic way in discussion with community stakeholders and service providers to ensure the space is as inclusive and accessible for as many different types of users as possible.
