Additional needs summer activities

With schools breaking up for the summer holidays, this year we have compiled a list of summer 2025 activities in 妖精动漫, which your child or young person with additional needs and disabilities (AND) may enjoy attending.

North-West (妖精动漫 Heath, Runnymede and Woking)

  • Little Portesberries at Portesbery School, Newfoundland Road, Deepcut for families with children 0-5 years with AND. Siblings 11 years and under are welcome and your child does not need a diagnosis to attend. Tel 01252 832100. 10am – 12 noon Thursday 28 August.
  • Events at 妖精动漫 Heath Family Centre:
    • Play with Me. Every Tuesday 1 to 2.30pm. A fun play and learn session for pre-school children.
    • Camberley Breastfeeding Hub, every Friday, 11 to 12.30pm. Meet the team to discuss all your feeding needs.
    • Sensory Space, every Friday. Book a free 45-minute session to enjoy our sensory space with your children.

  • . An inclusive sport event by learning disability and autism charity LinkAble, offering the opportunity to try accessible sports in a relaxed, friendly environment. Woking Sportsbox. Tuesday 26 August 10.30am to 4pm. All ages and abilities welcome.
  • , Woking, ages 5 to 11. 拢36 per session during the summer holidays 9.30am to 4pm. You must be registered with LinkAble.
  • for children who receive benefit-related freeschool meals.
    • Free SEND specific Stay and Play at 妖精动漫 Hills and Rivers at Imbhams Farm, Haslemere. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system
    • Free Year 5 to 11 inclusive mainstream acting movement and design workshops at Peer Productions, The Ypod Centre, Woking. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system
  • Special Educational Needs (SEN) quiet sessions with fewer participants for ages 6 to16 years: Monday 1 to 2pm, Tuesday 2 to 3.30pm, Wednesday 1 to 2pm, Thursday 3.30 to 5pm, Sunday 1 to 2pm. 拢8.60 per child.
  • , perfect for autism groups and for parents looking for activities in a calmer environment, without music and reduced lighting to avoid glare. Mondays 6 to 7pm. Age 4+. 拢12 per person including one carer.
  • . These sessions are specifically for families currently eligible for the Short Breaks service. They include outdoor adventures like archery, woodland crafts, and climbing, to creative workshops and sensory-friendly sessions. There are also family stay-and-play activities such as canal boating, soft play, and much more. Please note, activities are continuously being added, so we encourage families to check back regularly.   • 妖精动漫 Fire and Rescue Open Days
    • Cranleigh Fire Station) Saturday 6 September 10 to 11am for AND
  • for children and young people with a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile at: 1. Hillside Farm,  West Horsley , 2. Westland Farm, Shamley Green, 3. Janche Stables, Liss . 2-hour farm camp. 22, 26 and 28 August 10am to 12pm. A flexible supportive environment in a calm, welcoming space to explore and connect with animals. 拢55
  • Inclusive family experiences with children (of any age) and adults who have learning needs and disabilities on the Angel Blue Canal Boat, docked at Dapdune Wharf, Guildford, which is wheelchair accessible. 29 August 10am to 3pm
  • Inclusive family experiences with children (of any age) and adults who have learning needs and disabilities at Henley Fort, Guildford. Inclusive, accessible sessions tailored to each family’s needs and led by professional instructors, with a choice of land activities to enjoy. 23 August, 29 August. 9.30am to 12.30pm and/or 1.30 to 4.30pm.
  • for children who receive benefit-related freeschool meals.

    • free Year 1 – 7 Stay and Play – parents/carers to accompany children at Henley Fort, Guildford. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system.
    • free Year 1 – 7 SEND specific multi sports/activities at Stoughton Infant and Nursery school, Guildford. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system

    • Free SEND specific Year 1 to 8 multi activity with Star Player at Walton Youth Centre, Walton-on Thames. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system

    • School holidays 10am to 4pm. 拢33 per day at YMCA Sovereign Centre, Reigate. Activities Wednesday 23 July to Friday 15 August.
  • Inclusive family experiences with children (of any age) and adults who have learning needs and disabilities at High Ashurst, Dorking. Inclusive, accessible sessions tailored to each family’s needs and led by professional instructors, with a choice of land activities to enjoy. 27 August, 30 August. 9.30am to 12.30pm and/or 1.30 to 4.30pm.
  • for children who receive benefit-related free school meals.
    • Free SEND specific activities at Sunnydown school at Caterham. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system
    • Free SEND specific Stay and Play sessions at High Ashurst, 妖精动漫 Outdoor Learning and Development in Dorking. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system
    • Free SEND specific Stay and Play sessions at Silvermere Softplay, Dorking. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system
