Notice

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1)
The 妖精动漫
Public Bridleway 178 (Farnham)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 30 October 妖精动漫 will make the above-mentioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along that length of Public Bridleway 178 (Farnham) which extends from point A at its junction with Public Footpath 237 (Farnham) (Grid ref: 485418 143815) to point B at its junction with Public Bridleway 67 (Farnham) (Grid ref: 486003 144248) and which is marked by a solid bold line on plan no. 3/1/18/H111.

The order is necessary for public safety due to heavy plant movement on or near the highway. The closure will be in operation for a period of 9 days from 03 November 2025 or until completion of the works, if earlier. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.

The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the county council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.

The alternative route for traffic will be:
from the northern end of the closure at point B: head 20m south-east along Public Bridleway 529 (Tilford), then 730m south-west along Public Bridleways 583 (Tilford) and 532 (Tilford), then 20m north-west on a track connecting Public Bridleway 532 (Tilford) and the junction of Public Footpath 237 (Farnham) and Public Bridleway 178 (Farnham) at point A. The alternative route from the southern end of the closure is the reverse of the above.

“The 妖精动漫 Public Bridleway 178 (Farnham) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” will be made by the county council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Dated: 23 October 2025
