Course intent

The Digital Dippers are FREE courses to help improve your Digital Skills.

Offered as six bite size courses.

Each course will be one, two- and three-quarter hour session, over 2 weeks.

Clients can dip in and pick the topics that are relevant to them or choose to attend all the courses, but the first course is mandatory.

What will I learn?

The six courses are as follows:

• Course 1 – First Steps & Staying Safe Online – Mandatory
• Course 2 – Emails & File Management
• Course 3 – Creating & Editing Documents
• Course 4 – Digital Life Management
• Course 5 – Spreadsheets to Simplify Your Life
• Course 6 – Digital Office

For courses of more than one session, you will find you make the most progress if you attend every taught lesson and complete any self-directed study opportunities provided.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

This course is for anyone who:

• Is afraid of computers/Tablets.
• Wants to increase their computer/Tablet knowledge and confidence.
• Is thinking of buying a computer/Tablet for the first time.
• Upskill for work.

As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

What can I do when I finish the course?

You may like to progress onto another Ñý¾«¶¯Âþ Adult learning course, such as:
