Join us into discovering the history and Augustus, the all-powerful Emperor and founder of the Roman Empire

What will I learn?

We will examine the life and works of Augustus. Adopted by his uncle: Julius Caesar, he triumphed in the Civil Wars following Caesar鈥檚 death. After defeating Antonius and Cleopatra in 31BCE he had taken control of the whole of the huge Roman Empire.

What powers did he have? What policies did he follow? How did Roman politics change?
