Warm, nourishing, and incredibly simple - this workshop is your gateway to mastering the art of soup-making with a healthy twist. Designed for busy individuals and beginners alike, you'll learn how to create delicious, balanced soups that support your wellbeing without sacrificing flavour or convenience.
Throughout the session, you’ll also learn about the medicinal and nutritional properties of the key ingredients — from immune support and gut health to stress resilience — and discover how simple tweaks can turn an everyday soup into a powerhouse of wellness.
Whether you're cooking for yourself, your family or your friends, this workshop will leave you inspired and equipped to make soups that are both satisfying and good for you.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to make :
- Wholesome Minestrone Soup - a hearty Mediterranean classic brimming with fibre, antioxidants, and plant protein.
- Creme of Broccoli soup - a velvety green soup rich in vitamins C and K, supporting immunity and bone health.
- Medicinal Mushroom Soup - a deeply nourishing blend highlighting the immune-boosting and adaptogenic benefits of mushrooms
Your tutor, Louise is a Registered Nutritional Therapist with a passion for incorporating nutrient-rich foods into everyday cooking

No prior cooking experience is needed — just a love of good food and an appetite for learning!
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
Please ensure you have completed the following before the first session:

- You will be emailed a workbook. It will outline the ingredients & resources you need to bring and those that will be supplied.
- Inform adultlearning@surreycc.gov.uk if you need any adaptations to the recipes.
