Museum Explorers: Feed the Birds Day

Wednesday 29 October  at 10am and 11am.

Join the Elmbridge Museum staff as we help the birds that surround us daily. We will examine bird life from our past through the museum's historical photographs and artefacts and then participate in some construction challenges.

The event is free but small donations are welcome.

Meet the Author Matt Oldfield

Wednesday 29 October, from 3pm to 4pm.

Join us for a lively and engaging event with bestselling children's author Matt Oldfield, co-creator of the popular Ultimate Football Heroes and Unbelievable Football series.

Matt will deliver an interactive talk about his writing journey, the inspiration behind his books, and what it is like to write about football legends. He will also do live readings from some of his most popular titles, bringing the stories to life for fans of all ages.

The session will end with a Question and Answer, giving attendees the chance to ask Matt their burning questions, whether it’s about writing, football, or favourite characters!

Perfect for young readers, football fans, and aspiring writers. Don’t miss this chance to meet Matt Oldfield in person!

Booking necessary. Tickets: 拢4 per child (adults and babes in arms go free).

Second Hand Dance presents The Sticky Dance for Libraries

We are very thrilled to offer the chance for families to experience The Sticky Dance will be at several libraries across 妖精动漫 this coming November.

You will get to watch two dancers' shimmy through audiences weaving a tapestry of sticky tape in this tactile dance performance for young children. They will invite you to tape, stick and groove, to see and feel sound or to be still, watch and listen. Audiences will be encouraged to explore freely, turn the rules upside down and create their own experience.

The Sticky Dance is an interactive, engaging and colourful performance installation for children and their families. We offer a welcoming, inclusive space where free exploration is encouraged through moving, watching, listening, dancing and making noise.

The age guidance: 3 to 5 years with parent/carer. Babes in arms are welcome.

Sticky Dance will be at Weybridge library on Thursday 6 November at 10am.
