If you suspect misuse
What we need
- Badge number: First six digits (letters and numbers) printed under the expiry date on the badge.
- Location: Where the misuse happened (the street name or car park).
- Date and time: When the misuse happened.
- Details: Any more information you can provide. For example, please:
- tell us what you think the misuse was
- give us a description of the vehicle
- tell us where the Blue Badge holder was at the time of the misuse.
How to report it
and include all of the information requested above. The contact form and your report to us is confidential.
When reporting, please be aware that some Blue Badge holders may have hidden disabilities such as anxiety or autism. They may not have visible mobility issues, but are still eligible for a Blue Badge.
What happens next
We can't share details of ongoing investigations. However, please be assured we follow up on every report. This includes contacting the badge holder for an explanation, if necessary.
We also work with the police and other local authorities. In serious cases, our anti-fraud team may be involved. Intentional misuse can lead to fines of up to 拢1,000 and possible prosecution.
